Indianola Public Schools is seeking a knowledgeable and dependable IT Director to oversee and manage the district’s technology systems and infrastructure. This position is responsible for maintaining student and staff technology, supporting classroom instruction through technology integration, managing network systems, and ensuring the security and functionality of all district technology resources.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Maintain and troubleshoot district computers, devices, networks, and internet systems
Provide technical support for staff, students, and classrooms
Manage student and staff technology accounts and software systems
Oversee cybersecurity, device inventory, and technology updates
Support state testing technology requirements and online learning platforms
Coordinate with vendors and assist with technology planning and budgeting
Ensure technology systems operate efficiently and securely across the district

Qualifications:

Experience in information technology, networking, or related field
Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
Knowledge of educational technology systems preferred
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with staff and students
