| Description | Keys Public Schools is seeking a dynamic, student-centered instructional leader to serve as Elementary/Middle School Principal for the 2026–2027 school year. This position serves approximately 500+ students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 8th Grade and plays a critical role in fostering academic growth, positive school culture, and continuous improvement across all grade levels. Located in the scenic area near Lake Tenkiller, Keys Public Schools offers an exceptional quality of life with abundant opportunities for outdoor recreation and community engagement. The Lake Tenkiller area is widely known for its clear waters, boating, fishing, hiking, camping, and beautiful rolling hills. Families and staff enjoy a welcoming small-town atmosphere paired with easy access to nature, making it an ideal place to live, work, and raise a family. Keys Public Schools is in the beginning stages of implementing a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). The successful candidate will be expected to lead the development, implementation, and sustainability of MTSS practices to ensure strong academic and behavioral supports for all students. The principal will work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, families, and district leadership to build effective systems that promote student success. |
| Required Qualifications | Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership or related field. Valid Oklahoma Principal Certification. Successful teaching experience required. |
| Preferred Qualifications | Administrative experience preferred. Demonstrated leadership in instructional improvement and school culture development. Knowledge of MTSS implementation and intervention systems preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. |
